Interior design is an art and a science that studies the interior design of a room whether it's a bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen, private office, sometimes also studied the exterior design. The main purpose of studying interior design is to obtain the condition of the rooms were comfortable, clean, healthy, orderly, has aesthetic value for the owner of the room.

People involved in interior design are interior designer. The job of an interior designer is to design, analyze, planing, manage projects related to interior design.

The interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspection, programming, research, communicate with project stakeholders, construction management, and design implementation.

The interior design is the process of shaping the experience of interior space, through the manipulation of spatial volume and surface treatment for the advancement of human function.
